Fowborough Cottage (6 people) and The Cowshed (2 people) are grade II listed former farm buildings on the banks of the Cleddau Estuary, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park.
Five miles south of Haverfordwest, the stone-built cottages are set in the secluded grounds of East Hook Farm. Bound on three sides by the tidal estuary, guests are welcome to explore the 120 acres of mixed farmland, meadows and woodland without having to get in the car! Both cottages enjoy gorgeous estuary views.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, the beautiful Preselli Mountains and glorious sandy beaches are all within an easy drive, as well as the historic towns of Pembroke, St Davids and Tenby. The village of Hook, a mile from the cottages, has a shop where newspapers, fresh bread, eggs, milk and groceries can be bought.
The properties can be rented separately but are also ideal for combined groups or families.
Imaginatively converted using locally sourced oak, slate and stone, the cottage interior is light and contemporary and provides spacious accommodation for up to 6 people in three bedrooms.
The single storey Cowshed interior is light, contemporary and cosy with wooden floors throughout, and a carpeted bedroom. The Cowshed sleeps two people and the bedroom can be made up as a Superking or full-sized twin beds.
